About the role
We're looking for a Health Data Scientist to transform biomarker data into actionable health insights. You'll work at the intersection of data science and longevity research, developing models that help users understand what their health data means and what actions they can take.
This is not a traditional analytics role. You'll be building the intelligence layer of our platform—creating algorithms that synthesize data from dozens of sources (wearables, labs, genetic tests) into personalized recommendations backed by peer-reviewed research.
What you'll do
- Develop algorithms that analyze biomarkers and generate personalized health insights
- Build models for biological age estimation, pace of aging, and disease risk prediction
- Stay current with longevity research and translate findings into product features
- Create reference ranges and scoring systems for various biomarkers
- Collaborate with engineering to productionize models and ensure scalability
What we're looking for
- MS or PhD in Data Science, Biostatistics, Computational Biology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in health/biotech data science or quantified self analytics
- Strong proficiency in Python and statistical modeling libraries (scikit-learn, statsmodels)
- Experience working with health data (EHR, wearables, lab results, or genomics)
- Ability to read and synthesize peer-reviewed research papers
- Personal interest in longevity, biohacking, or preventive health is a strong plus
Benefits
- Competitive salary ($150k-$190k) and meaningful equity
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
- Flexible PTO and remote-friendly work environment
- $1,000 annual health and wellness stipend
- Free Assurna membership for you and your family
