Mission
Bring the structures the wealthy use to the people who earn like them.
The truly affluent rarely build wealth on index funds alone. They use a layered set of structures, protection, cash-value accumulation, tax efficiency, and liquidity, and most of those structures are invisible from the outside.
Most high-income earners get the same generic financial advice as everyone else and end up with the same generic structure: brokerage account, 401(k), maybe a Roth. That's a starting line, not a finish line.
Assurna exists to design what comes next, when it fits. The strategy call is honest about whether a structure makes sense for you. If it doesn't, we say so.
How we operate
Four commitments we make to every client.

Person-fit, not product-fit.
We don't recommend a structure unless it fits the person sitting across from us. If your situation calls for term insurance, an HSA, or just maxing your Roth, that's the advice, even though those aren't where our practice makes its margin.

Education is the first deliverable.
Most prospects we meet have been pitched a policy before they understood the structure. We do the reverse. You'll know how the moving parts work, funding pattern, MEC limits under §7702A, illustration conservatism under AG 49-B, before you decide anything.

Honesty about commission.
We're commission-based. Carriers pay the practice when a policy binds. We disclose that on every recommendation we make and we don't structure cases that exist primarily to generate commission.

Stay involved after binding.
A policy is a 20-, 30-, sometimes 60-year contract. We review annually, adjust funding as your tax and business situation evolves, and stay involved through claims when the time comes.
What we sell
Permanent and term life, with a specialty in cash-value structures.
Our practice focus is indexed universal life and related cash-value strategies. We also place term life, final expense, and health insurance for existing clients and households who want a single licensed point of contact across coverages.
