Comparison

Assurna vs GoHighLevel, for an agency that dials.

GoHighLevel is a broad marketing and sales platform that a very large number of insurance agencies genuinely run and genuinely like. Assurna is a narrow one: a dialer and a policy record for final expense and term simplified-issue telesales, and almost nothing else.

This page compares them on the things an agency owner actually decides between: what the bill looks like, what each product documents about dialing modes and calling rules, and whether a policy is a record in the system or a note on a contact. Every claim about GoHighLevel here comes from a GoHighLevel page or a published review, linked and dated. Where GoHighLevel is the better answer, this page says so, and there is a whole section about it.

GoHighLevel

What GoHighLevel is, in its own terms.

GoHighLevel is an all-in-one marketing and sales platform sold to agencies, priced flat per agency rather than per seat, with unlimited users on every published tier.

Its published tiers are Starter at $97 per month with three sub-accounts, Unlimited at $297 per month with unlimited sub-accounts, and Agency Pro at $497 per month, which adds SaaS Mode, automated sub-account creation, and the ability to rebill phone and email usage with a markup. Enterprise pricing is quoted rather than published. Those figures were read on 2026-09-02 and are the kind of thing that changes, so check the source before you rely on them.

The platform covers a great deal of ground: pipelines and contacts, two-way SMS and email, calendars and booking, funnels and websites, courses and communities, reputation management, and automation across all of it. Telephony and messaging are metered on top of the subscription against a published rate card, and GoHighLevel applies a fixed 5 percent markup at the sub-account level on pass-through carrier and registration charges.

It is not an insurance product and does not present itself as one. Agencies in this category typically arrive at it through a prebuilt snapshot or a white-labelled reseller who has already assembled the pipelines, and that is a real and reasonable way to get running quickly.

The short answer

Which one you should pick, stated before the table.

There is a real answer to this and it is not always us. If your business is broader than the phone, the honest recommendation points the other way.

Choose GoHighLevel if the phone is one channel among several

If you also need funnels, websites, courses, communities, reputation management, and a marketing automation layer, GoHighLevel does all of it and Assurna does none of it. If you are bringing a large downline onto one system, flat pricing with unlimited users will beat any per-seat price we can offer. And if you want to resell the platform under your own brand to your agents, SaaS Mode is a product line we do not have an answer to.

Choose Assurna if the phone is the business

If your agents spend the day dialing, the questions that decide the software are how many conversations an hour a mode can produce, whether the calling rules are checked before the dial or written in a policy document, and whether the quote, the application, and the issued policy live on the same record as the call that produced them. That is the whole product here, and it is the part GoHighLevel does not document.

Side by side

Side by side, on the things that decide it.

Prose rather than ticks, because a tick claims parity or absence and the truth is usually that both products do something, differently. Claims about GoHighLevel link to the page they came from.

Assurna compared with GoHighLevel, by capability. Every claim about GoHighLevel is sourced and was last verified on 2026-09-02.
What the product isA dialer-first CRM for final expense and term simplified-issue telesales. How it is pricedPublished per seat: Starter $99 per seat per month, Pro $199 per seat per month. Agency and IMO plans are scoped on a call.Published flat per agency with unlimited users: $97, $297, or $497 per month as of 2026-09-02, plus custom Enterprise. Outbound dialing modesPreview, power, and progressive, set per campaign. Predictive dialing is a conversation for larger agencies rather than a claim that it ships.GoHighLevel's own post describes its power dialer as living under Conversations then Manual Actions, where the system calls each number and the agent logs the outcome as they go. That is an agent-paced queue. No native multi-line, progressive, or predictive dialing is documented.GoHighLevel blog, the power dialer in HighLevel (2026-09-02)
TCPA and calling hoursConsent state, calling hours, and internal do-not-call are checked by the software before a number is dialed. These are operational safeguards, not a guarantee of a regulatory outcome, and they do not replace your own compliance program.GoHighLevel's caller-reputation article sets out the 8AM to 9PM local rule, prior express written consent, and do-not-call obligations as best practice the account holder is responsible for following. It documents no enforcement of those rules in the dialing path.GoHighLevel help centre, recommendations and best practices for maintaining a positive caller reputation (2026-09-02)
Insurance recordsLeads, quotes, applications, and policies are first-class records on the same lead the call created, with built-in multi-carrier quote comparison. The application step hands off to the carrier's own application rather than submitting inside Assurna.Contacts, opportunities, and pipelines are the record model. Across GoHighLevel's site and help centre we found no documented policy, carrier, product, commission, or chargeback object. Agencies typically model these as custom fields and pipeline stages.GoHighLevel pricing (2026-09-02)
Producer risk reportingPersistency, not-taken-out, and chargeback rates by producer, read next to the dials and talk time that produced them. Measurement of what happened, never a prediction.Agency Pro adds user and agent reporting. No persistency, not-taken-out, or chargeback reporting is documented, which follows from there being no documented policy object to measure.GoHighLevel pricing (2026-09-02)
Reselling and white-labellingNone. Multi-tenancy, organization switching, downline modeling, and customer billing are absent from the product. A dedicated, isolated instance is available, which is a different thing.Agency Pro includes SaaS Mode, automated sub-account creation, and rebilling phone and email with a markup, so an agency can sell the platform onward under its own brand. This is a genuine capability gap in our favour of them.GoHighLevel pricing (2026-09-02)
Track record you can checkNone to show. No customers to name, no public review profile, and no published metrics. The product argument is all there is.4.2 out of 5 from 89 reviews on Capterra as of 2026-09-02, plus a large public community and a marketplace of prebuilt snapshots.Capterra, HighLevel reviews (2026-09-02)

Assurna's own figures come from its published pricing and its capability pages, and the bounds are stated there too: predictive dialing is not claimed, the application hands off to the carrier, and multi-tenancy, single sign-on, and two-factor authentication are absent from the product today.

Where GoHighLevel wins

Where GoHighLevel genuinely wins, and it is not a short list.

A comparison page that finds nothing good to say about the other product is an advertisement. These are the reasons an agency owner might read this whole page and correctly choose GoHighLevel, and they are worth taking seriously.

  • Flat pricing with unlimited users beats per seat, and it is not close

GoHighLevel's published tiers are flat per agency with unlimited users: $97, $297, and $497 per month as of 2026-09-02. Assurna is $99 or $199 per seat per month. An agency putting forty downline agents on one system is comparing a few hundred dollars a month against several thousand. If seat economics are the constraint, that is the answer and no feature argument changes it.

  • It is a far broader product, and breadth is a real requirement

Funnels, websites, courses, communities, memberships, calendars, reputation management, and a general automation layer are all in the box. Assurna does none of that and has no plan to. An agency that runs its own lead generation, sells training to its downline, or needs a marketing stack as well as telephony would have to buy two products from us and one from them.

    Source: GoHighLevel pricing (accessed 2026-09-02)

  • SaaS Mode and the reseller economy have no answer here

Agency Pro includes SaaS Mode, automated sub-account creation, and rebilling phone and email usage with a markup, so an agency can package the platform under its own brand and sell it to its agents as a revenue line. Around that sits an enormous ecosystem of prebuilt snapshots and installers, including ones built specifically for insurance, so an agency can be running in days rather than configuring from scratch. Assurna has no multi-tenancy, no organization switching, and no customer billing, so this is not a feature we are behind on, it is a product we do not have.

    Source: GoHighLevel pricing (accessed 2026-09-02)

  • There is a public track record, and Assurna has none

GoHighLevel shows 4.2 out of 5 from 89 reviews on Capterra, alongside a large user community that will answer a question at nine at night. Assurna has no customers to reference, no review profile, and no published metrics. If you weight evidence that other people have already run their agency on the software, that weighting points away from us, and it should.

  • Reviewers praise the range, and the range is genuine

Larry H., a founder writing in April 2026, called it a great product that integrates into their suite of services. Edward K., an app integrations specialist writing in September 2025, described being genuinely impressed by the pace of innovation. Those are not faint. A platform that ships that fast across that much surface area is doing something hard, and an agency that wants one vendor for everything is buying something real.

What reviewers say

What published reviewers actually say.

Quoted as published, positive and critical, from one source rather than three that share a dataset. Capterra, GetApp, and Software Advice all draw on the same Gartner Digital Markets review pool, so citing all three would look like corroboration it is not.

  • fantastic - great product that integrates into our suite of services. we keep on pushing it - and it's great

Larry H., Founder, 23 April 2026, on Capterra. Capterra, HighLevel reviews, accessed 2026-09-02
  • Genuinely impressed. The HighLevel team have implemented a high quality product couple with a crazy high pace of innovation

Edward K., App Integrations Specialist, 22 September 2025, on Capterra. Capterra, HighLevel reviews, accessed 2026-09-02
  • Everything from creating a basic landing page sign up, to communities, to courses is SO SO SO complicated to set up, run and scale.

Zack M., Founder, 3 November 2024, on Capterra. Capterra, HighLevel reviews, accessed 2026-09-02
  • Took a while to navigate, there are a lot of features, many I did not need and the screen can feel overwhelming

Julia G., Dance Teacher and Choreographer, 4 February 2025, on Capterra. Capterra, HighLevel reviews, accessed 2026-09-02

Reviews are quoted as published, positive and critical, and are the reviewers’ own words rather than ours. Assurna has no public review profile of its own to set beside them, so none is implied.

Questions

What agency owners ask when they compare the two.

If the answer you need is not here, bring the question to the demo call and we will answer it against your agency rather than in general.

Does GoHighLevel have a power dialer?
It has a feature it calls a power dialer, and GoHighLevel's own post describes it as living under Conversations then Manual Actions, where the system calls each number in turn and the agent logs the outcome as they go. That is an agent-paced queue, closer to what the industry calls preview dialing. We found no documentation of native multi-line, progressive, or predictive dialing. Assurna ships preview, power, and progressive modes set per campaign, and treats predictive as a conversation for larger agencies rather than a claim that it ships. Verified 2026-09-02.

Source: GoHighLevel blog, the power dialer in HighLevel (accessed 2026-09-02)

Is GoHighLevel cheaper than Assurna?
For most agencies, yes, and the gap widens with headcount. GoHighLevel publishes flat tiers at $97, $297, and $497 per month with unlimited users as of 2026-09-02, while Assurna publishes $99 and $199 per seat per month. Both meter telephony on top. If the deciding question is cost per user across a downline, GoHighLevel wins it outright.

Does GoHighLevel enforce TCPA calling hours?
Its caller-reputation article sets out the 8AM to 9PM local rule, prior express written consent, and do-not-call obligations as best practice the account holder is responsible for following, and documents no enforcement of those rules in the dialing path. Assurna checks consent state, calling hours, and internal do-not-call in the software before a number is dialed. Neither of those is a guarantee of a regulatory outcome, and neither replaces your own compliance program. Verified 2026-09-02.

Can GoHighLevel track policies, carriers, and chargebacks?
It models contacts, opportunities, and pipelines. Across GoHighLevel's own site and help centre we found no documented policy, carrier, product, commission, or chargeback object, and agencies generally model those as custom fields and pipeline stages instead. That is absence of documentation rather than a statement from the vendor, so if you need it, ask them. Assurna carries leads, quotes, applications, and policies as first-class records and reports persistency, not-taken-out, and chargeback rates by producer.

Source: GoHighLevel pricing (accessed 2026-09-02)

What does GoHighLevel actually charge for calls and texts?
Its published rate card as of 2026-09-02 lists local numbers at $1.15 per month, outbound US voice at $0.0126 per minute, call recording at $0.0025 per minute, transcription at $0.024 per minute, and SMS at $0.00747 per segment, with A2P 10DLC registration up to $68.625 one time plus campaign fees, and a fixed 5 percent markup applied at the sub-account level to pass-through charges. Assurna includes 500 calling minutes per seat on Starter and 1,000 on Pro, and meters past the allowance.

Do we have to move off GoHighLevel to use Assurna?
Many agencies run both, and that is a reasonable outcome rather than a failure. GoHighLevel keeps doing the marketing, the funnels, and the downline training, and Assurna takes the dialing and the policy record. What you should not do is assume you will only ever need one vendor, then discover halfway through a compliance question that nobody can find the recording. Bring your current setup to the demo call and we will tell you plainly which parts we would and would not replace.
