Comparison

Assurna vs Ricochet360, two published prices.

Ricochet360 publishes its per-seat pricing and describes itself as an all-in-one insurance sales platform. So does Assurna, near enough, which makes this the closest comparison in the set and the one where the difference is hardest to see from the outside.

The difference is in the record model, not the dialer. This page sets out what each product publishes about price, minutes, dialing, and insurance records, links every claim to the page it came from, and gives Ricochet360 a section to itself where it is ahead of us, which on price and on track record it plainly is. Ricochet360

What Ricochet360 is, in its own terms.

Ricochet360 describes itself as an all-in-one phone system, CRM, and marketing automation system, and says agencies, brokers, and sales teams use it to convert leads to customers at scale. Its insurance page carries the line "Your All-in-One Insurance Sales Platform".

Its pricing is published per user per month, in five tiers, each with a monthly minute allowance: Shuttle at $35 with 500 minutes, Cruiser at $45 with 1,000, Booster at $102 with 1,500, Explorer at $150 with 2,000, and Galaxy at $198 with unlimited minutes. Minutes past the allowance are billed at $0.05 per minute on every metered tier. Those figures were read on 2026-09-02.

The named modules are a cloud phone system, CRM and lead management, marketing automation, automated text messaging, inbound call tracking, SMS, email, workflow automation, custom reporting, and a caller-reputation tool it calls Spam Guru. The marketing emphasis is speed to lead: the site claims new prospects can be dialed in one second and that agents call three times faster.

What it does not do is name its dialing modes. We could not find preview, power, progressive, or predictive named anywhere on its public pages, so this comparison does not claim to know which modes it runs. That is a gap in our knowledge rather than a gap in their product, and if the mode matters to you, ask them directly.

The short answer

Which one you should pick, stated before the table.

Both publish a price and both point at insurance. What separates them is what the software believes a policy is.

Choose Ricochet360 if the job is calling leads fast and cheaply

It starts at $35 per user per month, publishes a per-minute overage rate we have not published yet, offers five tiers so you can buy roughly the minutes you actually use, and carries the strongest published review record of anything on this page. If your requirement is speed to lead on a fresh list and you already have somewhere to keep the policy, it is a good, cheap, well-reviewed answer.

Choose Assurna if the policy has to live in the same system

The phrase "insurance sales platform" can mean lead management with an insurance word on it, or it can mean carriers, quotes, applications, policies, persistency, and chargebacks as records. Assurna means the second. If your reporting question is which producer is charging back and how that tracks against their talk time, that question needs a policy object to answer.

Assurna's figures come from its published pricing and its capability pages, and the bounds are stated there: predictive dialing is not claimed, the application hands off to the carrier, and the per-minute overage rate is not published yet, which is a genuine point against us on this page.

Where Ricochet360 wins

Where Ricochet360 genuinely wins, on price and on evidence.

This is the page in the set where the concessions are most concrete, because both products publish a price and the numbers can simply be put next to each other.

  • It is much cheaper, at every tier we can compare

Ricochet360 starts at $35 per user per month with 500 minutes, against $99 per seat per month with 500 minutes on Assurna Starter. Even its unlimited-minutes tier at $198 per user per month sits at the price of Assurna Pro, which includes 1,000 minutes and meters past them. For an agency where the software budget is the binding constraint rather than the reporting, that difference is decisive and no feature list argues it away.

  • It publishes an overage rate, and we do not yet

Ricochet360 publishes $0.05 per minute past the allowance, on the same page as the tier prices. Assurna's pricing page says overage is billed by the minute at the rate on your agreement and does not carry a published figure today. Assurna's whole pricing argument is that gated numbers cost a buyer an hour to get, so being unable to state this one is a fair thing to hold against us, and we would rather you read it here than discover it on the pricing page.

  • Five tiers fit an agency better than two do

Buying minutes in bands of 500, 1,000, 1,500, 2,000, and unlimited lets an agency match spend to how much it actually dials, without either overbuying or budgeting for an overage line. Assurna publishes two tiers and scopes the rest on a call, which is more conversation than some buyers want to have before they know whether the product fits.

  • It has the best published review record of anything on this site

4.8 out of 5 from 82 reviews on Software Advice, and a good number of those reviewers identify as working in insurance rather than in some adjacent category. Gage H., an insurance reviewer writing in October 2022, said the auto-dialer is a dream. Assurna has no customers to name and no review profile at all, so on the question of whether someone like you has already run an agency on this, Ricochet360 has an answer and we do not.

Questions

What agency owners ask when they compare the two.

If the answer you need is not here, bring the question to the demo call and we will answer it against your agency rather than in general.

How much does Ricochet360 cost?
It publishes five per-user tiers as of 2026-09-02: Shuttle $35 with 500 minutes, Cruiser $45 with 1,000, Booster $102 with 1,500, Explorer $150 with 2,000, and Galaxy $198 with unlimited minutes, with $0.05 per minute past the allowance on the metered tiers. Assurna publishes Starter at $99 per seat per month with 500 minutes and Pro at $199 with 1,000. Ricochet360 is cheaper at every comparable point.

Source: Ricochet360 pricing (accessed 2026-09-02)

Is Ricochet360 an insurance CRM?
It markets an insurance page headed "Your All-in-One Insurance Sales Platform" and frames the product around turning leads into policyholders. On that page we found no documented carrier, commission, chargeback, persistency, application, or quote object. That is absence of documentation rather than a statement from the vendor, so ask them if it matters to you. Assurna carries leads, quotes, applications, and policies as first-class records with multi-carrier quote comparison built in. Verified 2026-09-02.

Source: Ricochet360 insurance CRM (accessed 2026-09-02)

What dialing modes does Ricochet360 support?
We could not find preview, power, progressive, or predictive named on its public pages, so this comparison does not claim to know. Its own emphasis is speed to lead, with claims of dialing a new prospect in one second and calling three times faster. Assurna names its modes: preview, power, and progressive, set per campaign, with predictive treated as a conversation for larger agencies rather than a shipping claim.

Source: Ricochet360 homepage (accessed 2026-09-02)

Why is Assurna more expensive?
Because the seat price carries transcription, AI coaching on completed calls, compliance checks in front of the dial, multi-carrier quote comparison, and the insurance record model, and those are the parts that cost money to run. That is an explanation rather than a justification: if you do not need them, you are paying for them, and Ricochet360 is the cheaper answer. The honest test is whether you can name a decision you would make differently if you could see persistency and chargeback rates by producer. If you cannot, buy the cheaper one.

Source: Ricochet360 pricing (accessed 2026-09-02)

Is either one built specifically for final expense?
Assurna is: final expense and term simplified-issue telesales is the whole scope, and the product does not attempt property and casualty or general insurance. Ricochet360's insurance page is written for insurance sales broadly rather than for a named line. Neither of us has a public case study in final expense that you can go and read, and we will not pretend otherwise.

Can you name the decision the reporting would change?

That is the whole test on this one. Bring it to a demo and we will work it through against your own producers. If the answer is that nothing would change, the cheaper product is the right product and we will say so.
